Automotive Service Technician
South County Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ram is growing and we currently looking to add a couple of certified automotive technicians to our team. If you’re a top producer looking to elevate your career with a high volume store that has an amazing work culture respond now to schedule an interview! Our amazing team is the reason we’ve been the #1 Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram dealer in the state for the last 2 years.
Responsibilities
· Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
· Examines customer vehicles and identifies necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance needed
· Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
· Notify service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required
· Notify service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised
· Document all work performed and be sure all time is properly flagged
· Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician, keeping in mind that the customer vehicle should not be used for personal errands
· Attend factory-sponsored training classes
· Stay current on all factory technical bulletins
· Ensure that customers’ cars are kept clean
· Keep shop area neat, clean, and be able to account for all dealership owned tools at all times.
· Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes
· Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor
· Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
· Other duties as assigned

Automotive Service Advisor
South County Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ram, the STL Giant, is currently seeking a seasoned automotive Service Advisor to join our winning team. Must have 3+ years of experience with a verifiable record of being a top performer in all metrics including customer satisfaction.
Our Service Advisors are responsible for building strong customer relationships through our process: greet and consult customers on service needs, perform a thorough vehicle walk-around inspection, sell and up-sell services that are required, update customers often, field service calls, and take ownership of the customer experience from beginning to end.

Responsibilities
- Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
- Ensure that all vehicles receive a complimentary Multi-Point Inspection
- Consult with technicians about necessary repairs
- Advise customers about warranty protections and potential cost savings
- Help customers decide between trading in a car and fixing it through our shop
- Prioritize required services, and be prepared to provide options upon request
- Keep customer informed on completion times, service expenses and possible changes
- Guarantee that the customer has a positive dealership experience!
- Know the product well enough to answer characteristic and operational questions regarding the customer’s vehicle
Qualifications
- 3+ years of automotive service advisor experience a must
- Knowledge of automotive industry and parts
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate equally well with technicians, customers, and team members
- Must be results-driven
- Team player
- Stamina to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Renolds experience a plus!
- FCA Experience a plus!
- Must have a current, valid driver’s license
- Must pass
